The ThinLine Contoured Basic Pad gives you added protection under the stirrup barn of the saddle and will help control left to right saddle slip. When deciding between the ThinLine Basic Saddle Pad and the ThinLine Contoured Basic Pad, we recommend going with the contoured style as it provides more material with more ThinLine protection.
Basic pads have their advantage as they can be added to any other saddle pads and easily used on multiple horses. They have very low maintenance as they require no care or washing. Easy to add on top of any regular saddle pad for ultimate ThinLine protection.
ThinLine pads are used to improve both comforts for horse and rider. Riders find softer seats and less saddle movement in a low maintenance saddle pad. Horses seek the relief of a breathable pad that releases heat and moisture. Both enjoying the 95% shock absorption on the horse’s and rider’s spine. Tack Care Instructions
Cleaning Your ThinLine Tack:
ThinLine Tack is extremely easy to take care of. We do strongly recommend using our all-natural ThinLine Cleaners when wiping down and cleaning your ThinLine Tack. It works great for our reins, boots, girths and more. Using baby wipes or a little simple dish soap works well for quick cleans up too.
To ensure the longevity of your ThinLine Tack. It is important to keep it away from chemicals such as Show Sheen, Fly Sprays, Leather Oils, etc. This can cause the ThinLine foam to harden. Be certain to clean thoroughly if they come in contact. If you are conditioning a leather portion of ThinLine Tack, we recommend using a paste-like style to control the application.
